Hi from the Wine Bank University Place.

The Wine Bank opened in the Fall of 2005. The goal was and still is to provide great wines at great prices to our customers along with great service. The wines we carry are selected by the Wine Bank staff to bring you the best wine at the buys we can find. We personally taste and evaluate many of the wines we carry in our store. We also use valued recommendations and do lots of additional research. Within each varietal, type and style of wine we try to create a great line-up covering many price points. We try to find great deals for everyone!

Our specialty is wines from Washington and Oregon but we don’t limit our tastes to just these. We love California, Australia, Italy, France, Argentina and numerous other wine regions. It is fun for us to find great new wines whether from a small winery, old estate, or newly opened winery. Our shelves are full with over 1000 wonderful wines from around the world.

Friendly personal service is what we provide along with great wines at great prices. We love to taste and talk about wine with our customers. We have fun whether learning from, discussing with, or informing a customer about a new wine. Every weekend we offer complimentary wine tasting so our customers can experience new wines. What better way is there to find a wine that fits your palate. It’s a great opportunity to explore the world of wine in a friendly casual setting.

Each week we send an E-mail newsletter to our customers with the tasting schedule for the weekend. It also includes new wine arrivals and upcoming events. It’s short and to the point and doesn’t contain lots of stuffy wine tasting notes. We think you can make your own at the tasting if you really want notes.
